Generally, copper sinks will not be hard to maintain. It requires only basic cleaning. This means that using soap and water will usually be enough. However, keep in mind that you shouldn’t let your dirty pots and pans stay or sit in your sink for long periods of time. Letting them sit for too long may require you to clean it rigorously. One important thing to note is that abrasive materials are harmful to copper. However, you can apply wax to help protect your sink and delay its discoloration if you aren’t a fan of it.
